i would hate each of them immediately but hey tell you what whatre you gonna do

they just removed my two most hated celtics so its ok

although im pretty sure i do not like tristan thompson, i am willing to approach with an open mind, he was an occasional beast with lebron getting every rebound dominating physically and so forth and is still not yet 30

celtics adding a guy like that after they got wrecked physically all playoffs is good imo

can we clone Kendrick Perkins

i think with thompson the hope has to be that getting out of cleveland results in some natural bounceback. he's not exactly what they need but he's been a great playoff player in the past so maybe they can catch some lightning in a bottle at the right time.

at the very least he shd be available when theis is getting destroyed by a very big man, best case he plays well enough to take the starting spot

hes pretty much a non entity on offense besides the shooting tho

I like Otto Porter, though he's already overpaid and would be even more so to back up J&J

yeah hes on the last year of his deal, celtics wld get his bird rights but would they want to pay the price to resign him, who knows

i do think they cld get him a lot of minutes with various small and big lineups so he cld be more than just a backup

which is why getting a big wing makes so much sense for them

its also hard to trade for him without putting romeo in and do the celtics want to trade a second year lottery pick for one year of an overpaid guy, prob not, and would the bulls even want it either idk, celtics prob more likely to trade for someone who makes less where they can just ship a pick out and call it a day

is porter even healthy? i'd feel better if he had played a normal number of games last year.

Porter looked a lot healthier in March than he did in oct/nov. I think he was trying to play through some stuff.
