@Ned - it was from a couple who got to know each other because of MST in 2014, have had an MST wedding... like the show has really been part of the rhythm or the story of their relationship.

yeah, i still haven't made it through all the Netflix episodes, and at this point i doubt i ever will. :-/ i've tried popping it on to unwind at night but the overstimulated fear-of-silence riffing just doesn't mesh with the kind of chill i'm looking for.

I do follow Rifftrax and yeah, that's a partnership that's been pretty great. (That said, per upthread comments when Mike's more questionable choices blew up again last summer, sometimes you gotta wonder about that family.)
