So this story has taken a turn, Tony was staying in a guest cottage at a former colleague/"soul mate"'s house in Connecticut and had been on a whippet & hard booze bender. They say that he had an affinity for candles as well, making the cottage a veritable powder keg of various gas canisters, liquid accelerant and a flame source.
