Scare Me, available on Shudder - not actually a horror film but rather a dark comedy about a dude going to a far off cabin to write and finding that the cabin next door is owned by a successful female author. They tell each other scary stories, but it's not an anthology film where it cuts to anything - the stories are sold entirely on the actor's performances.
quite angry at seeing Bacurau described as "Mandy in the outback" itt >:(

Having now actually seen "Shithouse" I can highly recommend it as a sweet-minded, low key but ultimately moving (sort of) romantic comedy, with a couple of great performances and funny bits. RIYL "Palm Springs" but didn't feel like it necessarily needed the sci-fi artifice, though that still makes it sound slicker than it is when it's clearly pretty low budget and closer to Linklater and later mumblecore stuff. I'm sure I said it elsewhere but I think it would have been a sleeper indie "hit" if not for the stupid title. Might still be, who knows.
