Thanks DJP. Just watched the opening skit. Definitely seems worth going through the whole thing.

If people get hungry for more after the Netflix show, their youtube channel has plenty to dig into, including regular home-made sketches, occasional "got some grant money or made a pilot" things, and whole live shows. (They also have an improv podcast.)

Recently in the polished-and-with-a-budget category, the sketch elements from their Glennridge Secondary College stage show adapted into a filmed series. Five years back, they made this office-themed webseries with some development money.

plus their songs are great.

I'll have to check this out. They were on Comedy Bang Bang recently but I don't feel like it was a good venue for them, or Aukerman just didn't give them a chance to get creative.

Liking this a lot but gonna say I didnt like the Ellen bit. Way too long. Though by the time he became a god it was so ridic I did laugh but yeah.

I loved the line “It’s Elisha Cuthbert from 24 on an elephant, she looks fucking majestic!”

I also though that intercutting Mark losing interest and doing other things justified the length of the sketch, which I did find hilarious

I have to say, this is definitely a show to watch drunk and/or stoned. The last episode ramped the ridic up to mental levels.

I liked a few of the Glennridge YT episodes too - the foursquare/downball one was pitch-perfect suburban aussie school in a way Chris Lillie wishes he could aspire to. Well, except maybe for the stabbing.

Yeah, it was this observation I liked about it. Shouting 'FOCKIN PRONS!' has become a default whenever people of a certain age try and do an SA accent.

They did a YouTube promo where they basically told people to use VPNs to watch it. They also put some clips up on their YouTube channel and The Vibrator Song just fucking killed me
