hit me with some Connery deep cuts. Beyond the Bond films, Marnie, and a couple legacy roles from the 90s, I don't know of much. a friend of mine sent me a picture of a poster of some western he was in that she really liked. I know about Zardoz but Boorman is pretty chilly and kinda boring imo lol

I've thought about it here and there, as well as with his contemporaneous retiree Gene Hackman, who's also 90. That'll be a sad day.

How did I not dig into gospel great Rance Allen's singing and guitar playing till now. Some great video footage out there from Wattstax through recent years. I think he stopped playing guitar awhile ago, but his vocals could go deep and low as well as falsetto high

tbh I think the guy was a fucking waste of space. It makes me feel old remembering watching Porterhouse Blue as a kid, with him playing a "young student".

He was really great in Stella Street, and I loved him on Whose Line as a kid.

I was referring to his very vocal support of UKIP more than his work, which I can't stand either tbh!

A complete arse and about as funny as Keir Starmer but RIP nonetheless, 67 is too young.
