I'm sick of the supervision mechanic in games

This is a standard thing with character-based games now. You know, the colors wash out or go grayscale and important objects or quote-unquote hidden details are highlighted. maybe there's a mild fisheye zoom, maybe there's a sound effect and a time limit on it. You are going to be using it many times per minute

RD2 had this, so did the witcher (with smell-o-vision), and the asscreeds, and the arkhams, and dishonoreds, and a really janky one in the tomb raiders

get a new bit, games

it occurs to me that super-vision and supervision aren't the same thing

Ha I thought this would be about hand-holding prompts on screen, like text telling you where to go or what to do.

(both of these contribute to why I can only play From games now)

lol, I thought maybe there was some rash of games I didn't know about where you had to monitor a team of employees or something.

If Bruce has time to lean, press triangle to hand him a broom.

witcher 3's hypersuccess really pushed this into overdrive even if some of those other games had it prior
