Biggest fuck up was Roberts’ and how he played Baez anyway.

Van Horn Street, Sunday, 25 October 2020 18:24 (three years ago) link

Including telling Baez he was done and then putting him back in, just before the second home run he allowed.

Van Horn Street, Sunday, 25 October 2020 20:07 (three years ago) link

Jansen probably is king goat as he gave up the hit and then was not in the right position backing up the catcher when the ball got away.

Rozarena slapping home like it’s dat ass

Hunter Pence bought shots for everyone at an SF restaurant after the Dodgers lost Game 4 of the World Series 🤣

Glasnow pitching even worse than the score shows.

Jersey Al (Albert R. Broccoli), Monday, 26 October 2020 00:48 (three years ago) link

handy of the dodgers to run into an out

mookieproof, Monday, 26 October 2020 00:52 (three years ago) link

Glasnow, breaking out the El Duque style hide behind the arm.

earlnash, Monday, 26 October 2020 01:09 (three years ago) link

Got to admit fellas, this year is probably the less amount of baseball I have watched since I was like 8 or 9.

Sad ass year.

earlnash, Monday, 26 October 2020 01:10 (three years ago) link

That said, I was tied hardcore to the playoffs in '79 as I watched McNamara's band go down in flames to the Pirates and lost a $2 dollar bet to my mom on the f-in Pirates as I took the Orioles. Bitch made me pay and reminds me about it to this day. :)

earlnash, Monday, 26 October 2020 01:12 (three years ago) link

Arozarena's swing reminds me of Tampa native Gary Sheffield.

earlnash, Monday, 26 October 2020 01:22 (three years ago) link

well that is not a good start to an inning

frogbs, Monday, 26 October 2020 01:40 (three years ago) link

feel like the entire "Kershaw melts down in the postseason" narrative refers to basically this kind of inning exactly

frogbs, Monday, 26 October 2020 01:41 (three years ago) link

Cruddy D by the Dodgers.

earlnash, Monday, 26 October 2020 01:42 (three years ago) link

Squeeze to the right might work here, if he got a pitch to do so.

Have no idea if this guy can lay down a bunt, probably can't as that skill is gone for the most part.

earlnash, Monday, 26 October 2020 01:48 (three years ago) link

F-in terrible, you got a lefty pitching and they pulled the second basemen. You don't even have to lay a GOOD bunt just fair and to the right to score a run.

earlnash, Monday, 26 October 2020 01:50 (three years ago) link

wow that's one way to get out of it

frogbs, Monday, 26 October 2020 01:52 (three years ago) link

amazing by Kershaw too

frogbs, Monday, 26 October 2020 01:52 (three years ago) link

That was a pretty good pitch by Glasnow at 99, might be getting relaxed.

earlnash, Monday, 26 October 2020 01:57 (three years ago) link

Now at 100 pitches in the game, Glasnow finally finds his groove.

Jersey Al (Albert R. Broccoli), Monday, 26 October 2020 02:00 (three years ago) link

ok, I'll stop posting.

Jersey Al (Albert R. Broccoli), Monday, 26 October 2020 02:01 (three years ago) link

Classic Glasnow outing so far.

Van Horn Street, Monday, 26 October 2020 02:01 (three years ago) link

Muncy grooved that one...dude has some pop.

earlnash, Monday, 26 October 2020 02:02 (three years ago) link

Every home run looks impressive in that ballpark.

Van Horn Street, Monday, 26 October 2020 02:02 (three years ago) link

Got to say the manta ray hat and the lime green stirrups ruin a pretty nice road uniform.

earlnash, Monday, 26 October 2020 02:03 (three years ago) link

Alright this is where Dave Roberts either becomes a WS winning manager or loses his job. No pressure bud.

Van Horn Street, Monday, 26 October 2020 02:05 (three years ago) link

Whose bullpen is better at this point, as the starters are about cooked either way?

earlnash, Monday, 26 October 2020 02:08 (three years ago) link

On one hand the Dodgers have seen a lot of the Rays’ bullpen, enough to be confident against it, especially after last night... on the other hand Jansen and Baez and Dave Roberts.

Van Horn Street, Monday, 26 October 2020 02:11 (three years ago) link

those pretzels have no salt

error prone wolf syndicate (Hadrian VIII), Monday, 26 October 2020 02:16 (three years ago) link

Imagine being able to throw at 101 mph.

Van Horn Street, Monday, 26 October 2020 02:32 (three years ago) link

Great stuff by Gonzalez.

Van Horn Street, Monday, 26 October 2020 03:18 (three years ago) link

Yes!

scampos sacra fames (outdoor_miner), Monday, 26 October 2020 03:36 (three years ago) link

Beautiful

scampos sacra fames (outdoor_miner), Monday, 26 October 2020 03:38 (three years ago) link

That was a hard game to watch! My liver can’t handle this.

(•̪●) (carne asada), Monday, 26 October 2020 03:46 (three years ago) link

I love you, Clayton Kershaw

scampos sacra fames (outdoor_miner), Monday, 26 October 2020 03:48 (three years ago) link

Haha

Rays seem like they're in a pretty good place with Snell going tonight--get to game 7, then it's a coin flip.

clemenza, Tuesday, 27 October 2020 18:45 (three years ago) link

i think game 7 has to favour the dodgers

FRAUDULENT STEAKS (The Cursed Return of the Dastardly Thermo Thinwall), Tuesday, 27 October 2020 19:47 (three years ago) link

yeah, i'll take walker buehler in a game 7

mookieproof, Tuesday, 27 October 2020 19:53 (three years ago) link

Let’s see with this game first. Snell can go wild.

Van Horn Street, Wednesday, 28 October 2020 00:17 (three years ago) link

Arozarena goin wilder!

FRAUDULENT STEAKS (The Cursed Return of the Dastardly Thermo Thinwall), Wednesday, 28 October 2020 00:21 (three years ago) link

Arozarena is how I imagined Puig’s career would go.

Van Horn Street, Wednesday, 28 October 2020 00:28 (three years ago) link

Ok, Snell seems to be on. That 3 pitches strikeout on Seager was gorgeous.

Van Horn Street, Wednesday, 28 October 2020 00:31 (three years ago) link

still pretty early in his career! but yeah, he's been magnificent so far. unless the cardinals do especially well next year, i expect their president of baseball ops (mozeliak, who is still effectively the GM) to be gone. it's not exactly fair, i guess, but arozarena becoming a hearo may be his death knell

I mean this is still a pretty small sample, relatively. He was hot and cold all season until ending it on a serious hot streak.

FRAUDULENT STEAKS (The Cursed Return of the Dastardly Thermo Thinwall), Wednesday, 28 October 2020 00:39 (three years ago) link

I just want to believe this will be forever.

Van Horn Street, Wednesday, 28 October 2020 00:39 (three years ago) link

He was hot and cold all season until ending it on a serious hot streak.

you talking about arozarena? he only played 23 games in the regular season (called up at the very end of august), but he hit .281/.382/.641, with 7 HRs

just another 3-pinnochio post by (Karl Malone), Wednesday, 28 October 2020 00:46 (three years ago) link

i think he had covid-19 earlier in the year

just another 3-pinnochio post by (Karl Malone), Wednesday, 28 October 2020 00:46 (three years ago) link

Just 23 games?! He was added and dropped like 3 times in my other league! (Once by me)
