there's a reason Trump wanted to run against Bernie and not Biden. The "Commies are coming" campaign strategy is kind of laughable when deployed against Biden. Mayor Pete would have faced a strategy of "God is angry, our values are crumbling!" Biden's main weaknesses were all zeroed out because they applied to Trump as well--groping women, old, can't put sentences together.

I watched a few minutes of the West Wing Thing Reunion Thing - Dave Anthony looks nothing like what I expected and Josh Olson looks 20 years younger than I would have guessed. He's got old guy voice.

Olson seems like an absolute delight and a mensch. I've been listening to WWT during Covid and they get a surprising amount of mileage out of their righteous lefty anger vs smug Sorkin brain. really love how the intent at the outset was to just dunk on the politics, agreeing that the writing & performances were above reproach.,, but pretty quickly into the project degenerates into shock & dismay how painfully shitty the writing actually is once Sorkin's bag of tricks lose their novelty.
