Yeah I was quietly boggling at that earlier today

I just championed my 75th 4* -- Devil Dinosaur. I think I've reached the end of the game.

Nice. I’m happy enough with the daily quests.

I champed Anti-Venom yesterday, now onto Negasonic until Red Guardian hits packs

My only unchanged 4*s are Spider-Ham, Elsa, Negasonic, and Red Guardian. My Polaris is only 271 and is still the most important 4* in my roster; she has to get nerfed at some point because you can get to winfinite within 4 turns with her, 5Marvel, and BRB.

any opinions on the new daily quests?

Not really enough for me, tbh. Great for new players, I'm sure

They give a little more structure to my play. They’re fine.

I’ve champed all the 4* except Spider Ham and Red Guardian. Right now I’m just champing dupes of all the 3*. Boring but it’s MPQ.

When you click Claim, new reward tokens will automatically drop your marked favorites. Assumed it was set characters or randoms; so that's how I ended up with 3000 Cloak and Dagger tokens ;_;

I am glad I held onto my 3* champs so I had a waiting reservoir of ISO to drop for this

Oops don’t champ your I hulk unless your okoye is big! 33 levels higher is the gold standard. Otherwise he tanks a lot and it’s health pack city.

I’m taking the milestones slowly but so far got 5Storm to 13 covers. I don’t have the iso to champ anything right now, still trudging on champing all my 3 star dupes with 6 left. Up to 275 roster spots.

He took purple away from here but that was it

Ok I caught up with the milestone quests
Here’s where I’m at now

24 champed 5*
5 5* at 13 covers but unchamped
Need 185 Medusa shards to get BB to 13 covers
Need 41 5Thanos shards to get him to 13 covers (plus 3 saved covers)

That’s 31 out of 50!

I have several at 11 and 12 covers too. I’d like Hela and Doom but i wasn’t playing when they were released so I’m a long way off with them.

The only 5* I'm close to champing in BiB Spidey, and, eh...

He’s good IMO, especially with a damage booster

doesn't he cancel out the Rocket+Kitty teams? that seems pretty useful!

Relatively cheap stun + multi hit attack = definitely useful in several contexts

(Also the critapalooza/board shake of his third power is not to be ignored)

BiB Spidey is one I got to 13 today (well technically yesterday now yeah)

Holiday Quest counter is broken - but otherwise I like the recent updates.

& a new puzzle mode coming tomorrow too!

These changes have been amazing. It has also been very funny watching the forums go from “omg why are you killing this game, do something” to “holy shit, look at what you all did, this is amazing” literally overnight

Puzzle ops sounds good. I'll reinstall the game to try it.

First puzzle is “collect and hold 18 black”

I did this pretty easily with Domino/XFW and then tried again with Domino/IH, with a personal goal of getting to 18 black before IH killed Domino

I succeeded with Domino’s health down below 100, lol

Okay so Heimdall is 100% worth chasing because Heimdall/Shuri/HalfThor is fucking hilarious

collect enough red to fire Shuri's red, Heimdall's blue costs 3 AP and you can get his yellow down to 3 AP, which refills his blue and lets you get his yellow down to 3 AP and Shuri's red down to 3 AP, at which point he becomes a spammable battery and you can load HalfThor up with green AP and fire his AOE for 3 AP

Yeah. Just got 13 covers for him. Plus some new charged tile 5*meta could come and then woo

ok, what on earth am I supposed to do against these Polaris teams. I'm just trying to grind that Holiday Versus reward

If it's a Polaris and Kitty team I skip it. Polaris and anybody else I got for it (and kill Polaris first)

Polaris and Kitty or Medusa seems super hard. Not sure how you can kill Polaris fast enough before she bricks your team

but OTOH - so much new stuff since 2016!

match 3 is a wonderfully addictive game mechanism and one that i haven't touched in almost half a decade so i am a little worried i will disappear if i relapse

I usually beat Polaris teams with a mirror team and target her first

Looking at your roster, maybe try:

BIB Spidey
Medusa
someone who can go invisible or someone who can stun

Generally speaking, Okoye or Apocalypse are how you melt Polaris quickly (esp Okoye + Immortal Hulk)

Target Polaris first, a match 4+ with a 5* will get half right there. The AI doesn’t play her that well. You want to try to keep it from matching their specials so go for those first. Once they start cycling new specials you’re toast.

I stand corrected: i played and beat grindstone

Ultimately couldn't complete the Holiday grind. Ended up with 334/500 PVP, 51/60 PVE.

Ha I uh completed the holiday quests with 36 hours to go, and I only did about half of the Venom Bomb event

I may have a problem

Yeah I finished it too but again, near the end of the time.

I have Cable champed & he's still dying sometimes in this dumb PVE. I hate mindless ones.

I finished champing my dupes of all the 3* so now I'm finishing the 4* tier, have Red Guardian at 13+ covers so I'm currently leveling him, then have Scorpion at only 9 covers, and all the rest are champed. So 2 left + Throg.

I have a whole bunch of 5* at 13+ covers now that I haven't even started to level. No one meta, but like Black Bolt, Back in Black Spidey, that kinda thing. I'll never use any of them but I'm in this for gotta get them all now.

I have all the 2*s champed, the 3*s are rotating through in farm mode, all 4*s except Scorpion champed, and 27 5* champs, latest being Prof X. Black Widow, Mr. Sinister, and Ghost Rider are all on the cusp (12/13) and I have 2/3 of the latest 5*s champed (AOA Magneto is only 0/1/3)

I too have 27 5* champed, plus Ihulk at 13+ but soft capped to keep Okoye tanking. I have 4 more at 13 but unleveled still. Heimdall’s the only current at 13 but Deadpool is at 11. Mags seems to suck? Adam Warlock is gonna be a health pack killer but we’ll see.

I'm up to about 20 champed 4*s at this point and it is very nice to be able to finally really use some of these guys.

So FYI Throg is immune to IHulk’s revive damage if he has a repeater out

Throg/Vulture is a lot of fun

Throg/Vulture/Negasonic is outright carnage against goons
