agree that the house on the borderland is great - a must read for weird fiction fans - and the night land is unreadable. carnacki and his pirate stories are entirely meh.

So many good things on this list: Maurice Guest, Sanshiro, A Room With A View, The Road into the Open (the Schnitzler), The Old Wives' Tale, House on the Borderland, Wind in the Willows. No idea which way to vote.
