I'm torn on The Rock remake - hoping he really gets the humor of it, and undercuts the hero image if he's playing Jack. Given his Jumanji avatar character, he should be open to that. Won't replace the original in my heart, though.

I have an ongoing list that hobbles forward--I add another film every week or two. I'm up to 26. With so many possible additions I think "I put that on a list of favourite films 30 years ago (or 20, or 5), but would I really want to watch it tonight?" I've killed almost everything.
