on the same night as that photo, i realized my hair was falling out in clumps! first hair loss i've had, i think, that i've noticed at least. i think it's stress. my plan is to keep growing the top out and make my hair into a greasy, inpenetrable fortress. the inside will be bare and rotten, but no one will be able to see over the lip of the volcano, let alone willing to put their hands down into that greasetrap and expose the helmetless-darth-vaderesque pale skin underneath. then i will be comfortable!

yeah after spending a very rough two weeks in the hospital this summer about a week after I came home and mentally settled into the idea of my life being radically different going forward my hair started just falling out like pine needles whenever I touched it. so I decided to buzz it down pretty short and when I looked in the mirror it was like "uh oh"

months later it hasn't fully come back, though it mostly has, but man! not what I needed at the time!

After chemo and radiation, when my hair thinned but never went totally away, it all came back thicker, which I don't mind on my head....but jesus, eeverywhere else, too?

Thanks, gents. Pandemic's got me walking like Wordsworth in the Lake District.

This is TMI but I started losing hair to stress when I was 15 and that is primarily why I have short hair now!
It's very real, don't let anyone gaslight you into thinking you are imagining it like they did to me.
