Continual failures and embarrassments like trying to turn Marketplace into an Amazon/Ebay alternative (but with useless search capabilities), creating an Instagram platform for TikTok people to port their content over including the TikTok watermarks, the different attempts to be a streaming video platform... and Zuck is still worth $30+ billion?!

FB now is kinda like if you built a shelf 15 years ago, and every so often, you kept making useless improvements to it to the point where now it doesn't even serve the original purpose of holding things up, and there are nails poking out, loose screws, and even a syringe or two lying around on it

Maybe if Zoomers start watching Among Us on there it will move away from being Boomer Jonestown.

I check Marketplace every few days hoping for the world’s cheapest Rhodes piano to fall into my lap.

I’ve started reporting obvious guns and ammo posts (“Freedom Seeds” with a picture of an ammo box) and not a single one has ever been taken down by Facebook.

Had someone genuinely ask me this a few months ago, to which I responded "hahaha I'm 30, bro."

xpost the bots are shit and the actual real person moderators are all alt-righters. explains why "men are trash" gets you a ban, but stuff like the above or transphobic posts don't.

The only time Ive ever seen a FB post I reported get removed was one with a necrophila image in it.

But my bf and his friends podcast? It has a FB group and the members LOVE to swear at each other a lot, its sort of the aussie schtick (loads of "gimme a cake you cunt" and so on), and apparently lately loads of posts have been going into the censor bitbucket.

Friend of mine got a post from years ago removed which was just an Islamic State map with their projected territory - he'd posted it because it included Portugal and Spain, with the comment "I think those two were included for better football results?".
