russ out there making grade a end of game decisions as always

Clay, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 03:50 (three years ago) link

this series has been so bad i hate it both teams play like theyre completely exhausted at all times game seven baby

lag∞n, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 03:51 (three years ago) link

another fabled "Series Finale"

methinks dababy doth bop shit too much (m bison), Tuesday, 1 September 2020 03:52 (three years ago) link

the basketball hasn’t been great. the rockets have one good player... the thunder have 2.5? there’s so much narrative drama tho that i still love it

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 1 September 2020 03:54 (three years ago) link

cp at the end of the last few games has been fun to watch tho. he undressed covington tonight

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 1 September 2020 03:55 (three years ago) link

yeah he won that game single handedly no one else could do anything

lag∞n, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 03:58 (three years ago) link

kinda wild how invisible gallo is in these games. it’s really just cp and schroeder. SGA has been downright awful.

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 1 September 2020 04:01 (three years ago) link

Gallo has sucked this series but he had 25 pts in 28min on 52/44 shooting tonight

Fetchboy, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 04:15 (three years ago) link

oh my fuckin god lol

frogbs, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 04:31 (three years ago) link

Russ had at least 4 passes this game that were as bad or worse than that. Harden relying on step back 3s to end tight games when he’s tired vs cp working that mid range was poetic.

Spottie, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 06:35 (three years ago) link

Gallo had a really great 3rd q and kept okc in the mix single handedly for a spell.

Spottie, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 06:38 (three years ago) link

On one hand I want the thunder to knock out the rockets for max drama but on the other hand I am way more interested in viewing a lakers vs rox series.

12 TOs for hardbrook

this

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 1 September 2020 10:08 (three years ago) link

lol lakers would eat this rockets team right now

(•̪●) (carne asada), Tuesday, 1 September 2020 13:06 (three years ago) link

Not so sure about that

Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 13:15 (three years ago) link

They’ve been putting the clamps on gallo the whole series but he found a way to have two good games

Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 13:22 (three years ago) link

gallo had a couple weird bad plays down the stretch last night first got covington up in the air and then just forgot to draw the contact but still took a shot like he drew contact which missed badly then got the ball at the 3pt line w a second left on the shot clock and took a shot like there was .25 seconds left on the shot clock and missed badly

lag∞n, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 13:52 (three years ago) link

feel like if the rockets beat the lakers the nba would have to close just on principle

lag∞n, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 13:54 (three years ago) link

the interesting thing about okc-lakers would be the fact that the lakers would have no shot of guarding chris paul and don’t have anyone great for schroeder either. it just seems like they’re hanging on by a thread tho being dragged by those two and it’s hard to see them winning more than a game off the lakers.

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 1 September 2020 14:44 (three years ago) link

the math in a rockets-lakers series would be interesting. in games where green and/or kuzma couldn’t hit threes the lakers would be running uphill a bit. rockets would
ultimately need an effective westbrook tho to take advantage of the lakers guards and that person may have disappeared from the bubble

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 1 September 2020 14:48 (three years ago) link

lakers play good team d with brow there to clean up mistakes i mean if they can contain lillard i think they should be fine w other lil guys i think it would take something pretty flukey for either of these teams to give them a run

lag∞n, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 14:52 (three years ago) link

lakers-clips could be pretty epic if it comes to that

lag∞n, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 14:53 (three years ago) link

pretty sure thats where this is going to end up but the lakers and rockets provides the most intrigue in the semis. we have never seen harden vs lebron in the playoffs and both teams philosophies are just so at odds. lakers are massive.

Spottie, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 17:26 (three years ago) link

lakers rox cld be an interesting test of how good davis is actually he should be able to destroy them via playing big and physical but if hes passive they cld harass him into bad games

lag∞n, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 17:47 (three years ago) link

I just don’t want the clippers to win after the crap Morris pulled

Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 18:01 (three years ago) link

honestly got no one left I want to see win title

hah! a ring for Meyers Leonard!

i want anyone out of the east. just no lakers or clippers.

Spottie, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 18:23 (three years ago) link

yeah LA cheating by having two teams to double their chances of winning must not be rewarded

ciderpress, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 18:32 (three years ago) link

i can't decide if the clippers having no fans would make it better or worse if they won

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 1 September 2020 18:44 (three years ago) link

when the season started it felt the Clippers weren't clearly a team to root for or one to root against - some players and factors naturally pulling them to each side. But their midseason pickups tilted the scales towards making them a lot less fun to root for, alongside the lingering karma (and same coach) from the last few years of the CP3 era.

Lavator Shemmelpennick, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 18:50 (three years ago) link

ultimately i think i like lebron too much to be truly hurt if he wins. i think i could even accept the temporary return of lakers superiority... that's not as bad to me as winning a title for dan gilbert. the lakers can't hurt me.

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 1 September 2020 18:51 (three years ago) link

I would be in favor of kawhi visiting a new team every year he is in the league from now on and for that team to win a championship

Fuck the NRA (ulysses), Tuesday, 1 September 2020 19:22 (three years ago) link

starting w the spurs

A True White Kid that can Jump (Granny Dainger), Tuesday, 1 September 2020 19:46 (three years ago) link

its weird cos the clippers have no fans and kawhi and pg dont really have fans either. just a weird team. id just like to see someone new win it

Spottie, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 20:29 (three years ago) link

maybe it's the perfect year for a team with no fans to win since nobody can gather anywhere to celebrate anyway

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 1 September 2020 20:35 (three years ago) link

basically, every player is gonna have to step up

I'm so excited for Denver vs. Utah Game 7 & to see Jamal Murray vs. Donovan Mitchell! For Denver to win, Nikola Jokić, Gary Harris, Paul Millsap, or Michael Porter Jr. has to step up! For Utah to win, it's on Mike Conley, Jordan Clarkson, Joe Ingles, or Rudy Gobert to step up.

Did he just list the starting five for each team? lol

DJI, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 20:41 (three years ago) link

xp good point, therefore the utah jazz should win

ciderpress, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 20:48 (three years ago) link

Magic is right but I also think it’s important for Jamal and Donovan to continue playing well

Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 21:11 (three years ago) link

lebron and harden played in the finals!

bron and cp3 have never faced off in the playoffs tho

k3vin k., Tuesday, 1 September 2020 21:28 (three years ago) link

harden didnt really... show up that series tho

lag∞n, Tuesday, 1 September 2020 21:32 (three years ago) link
