myles turner and brogdon have been pretty awesome in this series
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 25 August 2020 00:53 (three years ago) link
i love myles turner, i like what the pacers do for the most part but i wish he was on a team that would really let him run wild
― call all destroyer, Tuesday, 25 August 2020 00:55 (three years ago) link
like for instance the boston celtics
― lag∞n, Tuesday, 25 August 2020 00:57 (three years ago) link
i dont think brad stevens is unlocking any centers sorry
― micah, Tuesday, 25 August 2020 01:02 (three years ago) link
i'm not sure he has a take over the game kind of attitude but he's blocked bam like 10 times in this series and also can do some things on offense. he's a nice player, could maybe be better on a diff team, but idk how much skill there is left untapped on offense personally
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 25 August 2020 01:04 (three years ago) link
i want him to just let it fly from three like 6 times a game and block a bunch of shots.
― call all destroyer, Tuesday, 25 August 2020 01:05 (three years ago) link
yes
― lag∞n, Tuesday, 25 August 2020 01:06 (three years ago) link

my pet hate is players neglecting to shoot, even when wide open, because theyre "running a play".. pisses me off no end
― micah, Tuesday, 25 August 2020 01:09 (three years ago) link
i have a few pet hates tbh

man east 1st round went one game past the minimum
― lag∞n, Tuesday, 25 August 2020 01:11 (three years ago) link
the next round should be pretty good tho
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 25 August 2020 01:13 (three years ago) link
i didn't do predix but would have had the 1-8, 2-7, and 4-5 going five games each and then the sixers decided to not even pretend to show up. nothing against the pacers but miami was an awful matchup for them.
― call all destroyer, Tuesday, 25 August 2020 01:13 (three years ago) link
if pacers were healthy it prob wouldve been a cool series
― lag∞n, Tuesday, 25 August 2020 01:14 (three years ago) link
east 2nd round will be tite
― micah, Tuesday, 25 August 2020 01:14 (three years ago) link
miami already had so many more ways to play and then you consider the coaching disparity. was just going to be tough for indy to keep up or do anything proactive to change the series.

incredible that melo, whiteside and nurkic are all starting in 2020
― micah, Tuesday, 25 August 2020 01:23 (three years ago) link
i don't get why gary trent is coming off the bench
― call all destroyer, Tuesday, 25 August 2020 01:24 (three years ago) link
Pacers gave a pretty good account of themselves all things considered. Sabonis is their most important player.
― Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 25 August 2020 01:25 (three years ago) link
jeremy lamb isnt nothing either. pacers have their entire core under contract next season so they could take the 3 seed if health is on their side. there may be potential for trades also if other teams panic under the cap crunch
― micah, Tuesday, 25 August 2020 01:29 (three years ago) link
not a great start from the blaze

That lineup was all wrong for them
― (•̪●) (carne asada), Tuesday, 25 August 2020 01:32 (three years ago) link
i think we're also going to find out at the end of all this that having the playoffs in home arenas makes series go 1-2 games longer than they would if played on neutral courts
― J0rdan S., Tuesday, 25 August 2020 01:39 (three years ago) link
Another thing about these series is that an every other day schedule leaves less time for adjustments, less time for players who are banged up to get right etc

blazers getting reffed tf out
― micah, Tuesday, 25 August 2020 01:52 (three years ago) link
sadly inevitable i'm afraid; there's no way the nba is going to allow lebron to get knocked out in the first round... or perhaps at all!
― Fuck the NRA (ulysses), Tuesday, 25 August 2020 02:10 (three years ago) link
blazers have been complaining about the refs since game 3 ended, not surprising it would blow up in their face
― dou lort (Clay), Tuesday, 25 August 2020 02:12 (three years ago) link
That 13 - 0 run to start had nothing to do with the refs
― (•̪●) (carne asada), Tuesday, 25 August 2020 02:14 (three years ago) link
i think it's ok to say it's been a good run for the blazers but they're not a competitive team right now
― call all destroyer, Tuesday, 25 August 2020 02:18 (three years ago) link
i'd love to say the blazers have a bunch of interesting decisions to make in the offseason but i'm pretty sure owing dame and cj 85 million in 2024 means this is prob the peak of this roster for the next half decade
― dou lort (Clay), Tuesday, 25 August 2020 02:23 (three years ago) link
yeah, unless they trade cj and/or strike luck through the draft, this is as good as it gets for a bit
― methinks dababy doth bop shit too much (m bison), Tuesday, 25 August 2020 02:24 (three years ago) link
they found a good player in trent. zach collins will get healthy. maybe simons figures something out? there are small rays of light but this is the point where roster building gets hard.
― call all destroyer, Tuesday, 25 August 2020 02:25 (three years ago) link
They absolutely need to trade cj
― Spottie, Tuesday, 25 August 2020 02:26 (three years ago) link
wait they essentially made this an extra lakers "home game" in honor of national kobe day? my apologies but that is shenanigans
― dou lort (Clay), Tuesday, 25 August 2020 02:26 (three years ago) link
i'm far from the biggest cj fan but it will be tough to find a trade for him that's worth making
― call all destroyer, Tuesday, 25 August 2020 02:28 (three years ago) link
cj is giving all he's ever gonna give ya and he and dame just never made sense whatsoever, even moving cj for spare parts and expirings and punting a year would be better than being a 7th seed until dame is well on the backend of the talent parabola
― dou lort (Clay), Tuesday, 25 August 2020 02:28 (three years ago) link
It’s hard for me to imagine the lakers winning the title with 2 players but I guess it’s possible
― Matt Armstrong, Tuesday, 25 August 2020 02:31 (three years ago) link
They play some intense defense when they want to
― (•̪●) (carne asada), Tuesday, 25 August 2020 02:31 (three years ago) link
AD learning to do the floppy midair leg kick thing to draw a foul is gonna get someone badly hurt
― dou lort (Clay), Tuesday, 25 August 2020 02:32 (three years ago) link
(possibly him)
― dou lort (Clay), Tuesday, 25 August 2020 02:33 (three years ago) link
I constantly feel like he about to break
― (•̪●) (carne asada), Tuesday, 25 August 2020 02:34 (three years ago) link
The thing with dame... he’s still barely a 40% shooter for his playoff career and if it wasn’t for a couple of series winning shots people would probably bring that up a bit more.
