haven't they implemented the robo-strike zone in some minor leagues? i'm curious about what it tends to do to league-wide offense, both in the short term (first few weeks as everyone adjusts) and more long term

also, as i think mookie and others have pointed out, what it does with the value of catchers, particularly those who specialize in pitch-framing

I've seen more horrific ball/strike calling this year already than I saw all of last year

Umpire Brennan Miller missed 10 calls in the first 4 innings and 9 went against the Twins.

He then called two more bad strikes to ring up Matt Wallner and ejected the hitting coach for complaining.
