The Ronettes recorded a song called "Here I Sit" where the first line is actually "Here I sit, brokenhearted" making it absoutely impossible not to mentally complete the lyric. But I assume Phil Spector intended that to happen as a little joke. (The song was scotched as a single release in 1965 but has appeared on official releases subsequently).
