2020 east bubble playoffs: bucks vs. the field

This is not giving me confidence

There are bubble things going on and everything seems weird. These games are also more or less meaningless for them. Idk.

Yeah I get that they’re not really giving 100% but still you shouldn’t lose to the Nets down 3 starters

They seem to give up a lot of open 3s. They made the proper adjustments for that last year so I’m not too worried yet I guess

this isn't like "warriors vs. the field" where "the field" equaled the rockets and nobody really thought they could win anyway

I’d take the field if given that bet but the bucks are still the favorite of any one team

yeah, im still rooting for them. would love to see giannis pull off an mvp+finals mvp season.

right now i'm leaning towards toronto, they just seem like the team w/ the least amount of holes. they're also a really good shooting team... you don't think of lowry, van vleet & siakam as killer shooters and they aren't really but they take a bunch of them and make enough of them that it can be really tough. not a huge drop off when norm or OG are in the game either.

my thought has been boston all year bcuz i just think they have the best 5 at the end of the game, but kemba's injury is putting me off of that. if he's ineffective i'm not sure if tatum and brown can be the top 2 on a finals team this year.

i've already said why i think the heat are an interesting match up for the bucks but i don't think they have enough juice to get to the finals. celtics are a terrible match up for them... raptors is pretty even but i'd give the edge to toronto.

i've been having terrible visions of kyle lowry taking charges against a frustrated giannis as the camera pans to players on the raptors socially distanced bench doing tik tok dances while the stunned bucks rotation looks on

im a bucks believer but i took the field, i mean the field is all the other teams, its a lot of teams

oh wait i didnt notice this was just the east im not sure now i think i got the bucks

the uncertainty of the bubble tho...

no one is rolling right now a lot will depend on who can get rolling and how fast, do the bucks have an advantage in getting rolling because of their multi season roster continuity and the fact that they were already rolling all season? perhaps

so theyre prob vulnerable to good shooting teams

but! good shooting teams tend to generate their best looks from kickouts, and if the bucks are packing the paint...

if only there were a team with two of the best shooters of all time on it

i voted for the field but i've already changed my mind, i think the bucks win the east in like 55-60% of universes

yeah i think theyre pretty strong faves over everyone and might not even have to play the teams that arent as good matchups for them

i like the bucks. no team in the east is flawless but they have the least flaws + the best player. if the season would've continued like normal i would feel very confident in them but bubble ball weirdness def opens the door more for randomness.
