According to imdb, it was all shot in Spain, so perhaps the producers (presumably not AIP, as this reeks of a pickup) gave out a lot of free vacations?

Jaguar was an attempt to turn Joe Lewis into the next Chuck Norris. Lewis had a stronger background as a karate tournament fighter and kickboxer, but it turned out he wasn't as good an actor as Chuck.
