oh i had every intention of drafting pearson, i just forgot about him. i starred a bunch of guys before the draft thinking that would highlight them in some way during the draft but that didn't happen

i drafted like a total idiot completely disregarding this year and drafting all but 2 or 3 players under 30, none of whom are going to be given enough playing time to actually prove to anyone that they're worth keeping for 2021

i wonder if yahoo! will remain flexible on position designation for next year so that we don't end up with a bunch of DHs trying to qualify for position eligibility in 2021.

Well I had quite a fall from grace, sparked by Scherzer's 1st inning exit a few days ago and all downhill from there, team-wide. If Flaherty ever makes his 2nd start that may help (has not pitched since opening day!)

The curse on my pitching continues... 2nd day in a row with a SP getting totally blown out by a team of replacement level shleps.

It is with very heavy hearts that BillyChildishBambino has parted ways with keeper Mitch Haniger and what remains of his testicles. We wish him much luck in the 2022 or 2023 season when he finally returns to the field.

Mike Clevenger – demoted indefinitely for being a complete fucking idiot
Zack Wheeler – unharmed as of yet
Nate Pearson – ERA of 6.61 and is now on the IL wth elbow issues
Dinelson Lamet – unharmed as of yet
Dylan Bundy – pitching surprising well somehow
Mitch Keller – IL for a month now with a strained oblique

I should also mention that one of those young arms was meant to replace Luis Severino, who has now missed two seasons

ack that'll happen with identical names. one of these days i'll come up with a better fix than "changing one of their names to will smith2" but for now that'll have to do!

It's the last weekend: PPD weather is in play and many starts are in jeopardy depending on the playoff scenarios so I'm not taking any chances. That said, I'll probably hit my IP limit today and tomorrow will be a totally different story.

Think if they are on the roster for a full day they go on waivers.

It appears that I have won this year's edition of the ILB fantasy league, a league that I created in the spring of 2003 and had never finished higher than 5th prior to this season.

Very few of my fellow managers remain from the inaugural season, but as the founder of this board and it's accompanying fantasy league, I thank all of you for participating.
