also while Biden's polling an 8+ point lead, Hillary at this point only had a 2.7 point lead nationally and was struggling. and she wasn't against an incumbent.

trump's already sent helpful federal officers to Portland. a couple of days ago one of them helpfully shot a 'non-lethal' projectile at a protestor spraying graffiti on the Justice Center. It hit them in the head and they were concussed and lying unconscious for quite a while before being sent to a hospital.
