i just had an interesting message exchange with the fling guy... he's married and living in japan teaching english! which is funny, because i'm thinking about doing the japan thing next year. his contract runs out in aug 2008 and he thinks he can hook me up as his replacement... very interesting...

is it possible to export facebook contacts to, say, the address book on my mac? it occurred to me that this would be useful, and the same idea seems to have occurred to other people too, some of whom did something about it, for example:

my 'complicated' status is for a couple of reasons: firstly, because i'm in this more-than-friends thing with someone who lives in another country. we have no exclusive relationship, but he's the shizzle and i have no interest in casual flings with anyone else. secondly, i won't rule out meeting someone and falling for them, but the truth is that i'm totally into someone else, and i don't want to lie about it. at least this way, the subject comes up right away, so the other person knows where they stand.
