JJ is such a coward, I'll never watch IX.

Cowardly is exactly the right word for IX, though I get the feeling that the problem with it comes down more to Lucasfilm/Kennedy, who hired JJ knowing what they'd get. Complete knee-jerk reaction to fans grumbling about VIII. VIII is flawed but at least tries to go somewhere new

The entire trilogy sucks donkey balls tbf. IX was exactly the ending it deserved, the resistance bomber of SW movies
