Reddit quarantined the forum last year and banned or restricted most of the users in February.

nice to know that a bunch of misogynistic rape/violence/degradation fetishist subreddits have escaped the axe. I guess banning them would amount to kink shaming or smth

reddit ban for two reasons - illegal stuff and (more often) breaking rules, usually the rules about not raiding other subs, they are obsessed with this for some reason, or at least use their obsession as an excuse to ban stuff. (legal) pervs presumably keep themselves to themselves and don't get banned.
