Highly recommend this new single / EP (it's 33mins) by A Separate Reality. It was recommended to me by Vinyl Dreams SF and has proven to be what i call a 'flipper' - a record that I just keep flipping over and over without losing interest. It's also fairly cheap, which is a welcome change. Comments on the title? Feels a bit Orchestral Maneuvers in the Dark to me, or in line with some other titles that are just a little too close to parody.

Side A: 1. Sounds like Studio 2. Sounds like Mark Barrott 3. Sounds like Wally Badarou - not meaning this as a put down, more of a hint of the vibe.

Domenique Dumont has a new album out in November. It's a soundtrack to a German silent film from the 30s. This is the only track up yet, and it sounds very nice.

Relistening to Domenique Dumont’s miniatures album and it has so many breezy, gorgeous moments. Specially love how the guitar sounds.

At this point, I'd say that's my favorite of the two.

New Domenique Dumont is excellent as expected, more subtle and less chirpy than previous releases but would have been ideal if it had came out in time for the end of summer.

I don't realistically expect anyone to listen to the whole thing but I've been wanting to get this vibe out my system for a while.
