Concrete Jungle is not only the best song on this album, it's the best Bob Marley song period.

Also, the hammond overdubs might have been necessary to break this album in the 70's rock market, but sitting here in 2020, it's hard to conclude that the original mixes weren't better before Island fucked with it.

yeah, it definitely has some jams. i can't argue with that.

I do love Soul Rebels and Soul Revolution but it's the atmosphere on this thing that carries it into a different realm altogether. I don't know that I can vote for anything other than Stir It Up.

Bob Marley might have the biggest, best, deepest catalog for an artist revered by so many for just a single hits comp.

Natty Dread was always my dad's favorite, so I have a soft spot for that one.

The organ blasts (I assume from Tosh) on "no more trouble" are insane.

kinky reggae is my runner up, and might get my vote due to the sneaking suspicion that concrete jungle is gonna win by a lot

the guitar solo on stir it up is one of the cutest, happiest moments in the history of recorded sound
