a name means a lot just by itself (lfam), Saturday, 23 September 2006 14:26 (seventeen years ago) link

A few months ago, because I was too lazy to get dressed and get my key and go to the bathroom on the floor, I took a poo into a garbage bag. Then I threw the garbage back down the chute, my floormates none the wiser.

Well, yesterday at 11:30 at night I had a similar problem. I had a stomach ache and I really didn't feel like getting dressed and fumbling around with my wallet, so I shat into another garbage bag.

Here's the twist.

The chute is completely blocked up. It's filled with trash, nothing can enter it, it's completely full. There's even a sign on it saying "DO NOT OPEN."

So, here I am with a bag of shit in my room. I put it in a suitcase in my closet. My room doesn't smell at all, but the closet is pretty stinky. This is awful and humiliating.

Hopefully the garbage chute will be cleared up tomorrow (I think tomorrow's a trash day)... Will my suitcase forever smell like poo? Or is the fact that it's in a garbage bag preventing that from happening?

I get all nervous when people come into my room. It's like the tell-tale heart.

we ain't got nothing on those guys

yeah that is fucking gross.

not exactly that dirty, but:
my roommate was throwing up after a long night, and i was trying to get to bed, but couldn't because i had to pee very badly. from the sounds escaping from the bathroom, it seemed like it was going to be a long, drawn out vomit. so i opened my window, cut a hole in the screen, and relieved myself that way. dirtbag or clever?

- barfed out of speeding taxi, in wintertime
- barfed into a bowl on a glass table, at a party, once
- barfed on friend's front hallway carpet (so. close. to. bathroom. but not there.), new year's a couple yrs ago, followed by five people helping me back down the stairs, getting into taxi with boyfriend, arriving in front of bf's home, telling boyfriend to fuck off and leave me alone, on the sidewalk, in the snow, where i was laying down
- barfed in sinks, showers, buckets, etc etc etc
- now: attempting cease and desist re booze, tho i don't barf anymore. which is almost worse, all that poison with no way out, destroying. how to cure dirtbag drinking ways?? shrooms, pot, yoga? mormonism, army, backhand to the face? harsh words, pregnancy, workaholicism? meh, s'ok.

rrrobyn, the situation (rrrobyn), Sunday, 24 September 2006 05:17 (seventeen years ago) link

my story is that i was 18, it was summer, and i decided to try to swim out to a kelp bed and realized i'd swum out past my limit.

WAAAAAAAAAY past my limit.

i started swimming in but there was a rip current and i ended up fighting the current for what seemed like an hour (probably more like 20 minutes) and eventually i stopped paying attention to what i was doing and when i finally ended up in the surf i was so exhausted that i got pounded and swallowed a ton of saltwater.

i walked off the beach and climbed into my car. it was a really hot day and i just sat there in the leather seats of my burgundy cressida, soaking up the warmth and burping a bit.

then i started the car and drove to the end of the street, turned on the coast hwy and drove for about five minutes. at the end of my street i pulled up on a traffic light and a sherriff rolled up next to my. i looked over at him, smiled, turned back to the wheel and puked a gallon of dirty saltwater all over my chest and lap and steering wheel.

the light turned green and i got home (he didn't follow me)

yeah, but y'know, you're not a true westcoaster until you've barfed sea water. bonus points for it coming out your nose.
(ripcurrents are freakin scary.)

Not that I'm even in the running for dirtbag, but I did throw up last night -- fortunately in the bathroom, in the toilet, no muss. I did tell the hostess, "I'm trying to decide whether to throw up in your bathroom" and she was like "That's what it's there for!" YAY!

- barfed out of speeding taxi

this was a hobby of mine, for a little while. even worse: once i was with dan se1zer in a cab and totally had to vomit and then kind of did vomit but didn't let it out and sat there feeling gross and panicked. he kept saying, "are you okay" and i'd go, "nngh." when we pulled up in front of his apt, i ran out and went "bleeurrgh" all over the pavement.

I own two pair of shoes (Adidas sneakers for work, Adidas shelltoes for everything else), haven't shaved in six weeks, don't own a suit or any kind of dress clothes, and haven't washed my truck in two years. There's also a bit of a cave-in on the right side where I backed into it with a forklift.

I am however, fastidious about washing clothes and keeping things clean. Jeans get no more than two wears between washing - I don't even know how you can live with more than that.

i vomited out the car door at stop signs all the time back in '03/'04, so often my passengers weren't bothered by their puking driver anymore. haven't puked in nearly a year, but the drivers' side doorjamb still has a couple coats of vomit. i'm suprised this thread doesn't have any 'cum stains'.

oh I don't know how I missed it but yes, that's the story. The way I remember it while on the bridge I kept asking, "do you want me to ask him to pull over so you can throw up" and you just nodded your head NO and I was thinking, why isn't she talking to me? then we pulled up outside my house and soon as the door opened you threw up and it took me a bit to realize you'd like, already thrown up and was just holding it in.

i have a bridge story too. cant remember if it was brooklyn or manhattan bridge, but had a date with a cute girl at petit abeille. after several belgian beers we went to apt, where cranberry vodkas were free for some reason. after too many of those i started stumbling, falling into snowbanks. during cab ride back to brooklyn, exactly over the bridge, i roll down the window and spray the entire outside back of the car, including 1/3 of puke which the wind blew back inside.

this wonderful woman lives with me now.

Things in my backyard (which I have managed not to mow in 1+ month):

1. torn down rusted out ancient swingset
2. what used to be a perfectly fine love seat until we put it out there
3. table, same circumstances
4. gas grill which hasn't worked since 1997, which has a...
5. small charcoal grill sitting on top of it
6. upturned tub (once used to house keg, now houses colony of spiders)
7. variety of balls neighbor kids throw over fence, never to be seen again
8. partially collapsed deck (one corner sagging)
9. stairs made of cinder blocks
10.once-descent red brick patio demolished by weeds
11.rusty metal shed (3 different colors sheet metal) containing:
* 3 mowers, 1 working, 1 ancient push-powered variety
* 2 bags of mulch, ripped and spilling
* 1 red-flyer wagon whose wheels will never turn again (rust)
* 1 saw (rusted)
* 1 rake (rusted, missing 4 teeth)
* white chest-of-drawers, possibly housing family of chipmunks

My fence is collapsed in one of the far corners, is held up currently by a series of cinder blocks + rope + coat hangers + duct tape.

Also, due to a squirrel attic infestation about 2 years ago, none of the ceiling lights in the upstairs of my house work. Also, the standlamp in my bedroom has been burned out for about 3 months, once the sun goes down, total darkness in there. Also there is the matter of the peed upon beanbag chair.
