If trains are a bit too exciting you could always go by bus. I was looking for the slow tv show which was on BBC4 a few years ago and found this instead.

my fav channels are lorirocks777 and rail relaxation. the former's rides are a little less eye-catching all around but i like the grim winter light in some of the france videos. the latter has some all-time bangers, good stuff in italy, spain and austria.

some favorites recently. this rear-view amtrak from la junta, co to albuquerque nm is uhh enchanting. makes me dream of small towns in the southwest. i did not know that trinidad, co was the site of some major coal strike violence in the early 1900s.
