my church has no denomination, just a Christian church. Now, nowhere does it
say in the Bible that if music isn't Christian is satanic. Things are only
considered to be "of satan" when they preach sin, portraying it as good, or
there is sin in the lyrics or somewhere else. (and don't tell me there has
never been a sin in Christian music!) I am a Christian, but the church I am
at now isn't as clique-y as my other church, which I left because I didn't
like the youth group. However, the other church never seemed to get on
anybody for listening to Metallica and were much more open-minded. I'm almost
regretting the change. I went to see Metallica and Orlando and I went up to
tell my youth group leader, because I would be missing play rehearsal. She
says "as much as I don't want you to go, you are. blah blah...there won't be
many Christians there, set a Christian example"....now how in the hell would
she know who would be Christian there or not?
I played Puppets, and thank goodness she liked the message!

for some time, mine appeared to be my interpretations of Throwing Muses' "chains changed" EP's lyrics, which I'd posted on a 4AD mailing list, and which were WRONG, but were being noted (with my byline) as right on some 4AD fan page, ugh. Thankfully it seems to not be there anymore though.
