My god that press conference clip is astonishing. It's like a foolproof cure for impostor syndrome.
― Matt DC, Sunday, 24 May 2020 19:05 (four years ago) link
I agree with Michael. Tonight, I’m really embarrassed to have ever backed Boris Johnson for high office. https://t.co/Q1NpbOc8kh— Tim Montgomerie (@montie) May 24, 2020
On one hand it's hilarious that they've lost the likes of Tim Montgomerie and Julia Hartley-Brewer over this. On the other hand, imagine being this credulous.
― Matt DC, Sunday, 24 May 2020 19:10 (four years ago) link
Well, either credulous, or soulless, hypocritical and believing in nothing but furthering the agenda of the wealthy.
― Children of Bo-Dom (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 24 May 2020 19:12 (four years ago) link
they need to feel that embarrassment and suffer it for years, the wankers. They stanned for an incompetent who just did a buy one Guy Goma get two for free show and you fucking idiots backed him!

Cummings is loving every minute of that walk though, I reckon. Look at those houses, he can stand to be heckled by those people.
― Matt DC, Sunday, 24 May 2020 19:37 (four years ago) link
Even before this the number of times there have been press waiting outside his house reminds me of only one other person (Corbyn but you'd expect it more for the LOTO). I'm a big 'chase all Brexiters out of anywhere with a London postcode' bolsh tho.
― nashwan, Sunday, 24 May 2020 19:40 (four years ago) link
Starmer saying he would have sacked Cummings and calling for him to go now
― stet, Sunday, 24 May 2020 19:48 (four years ago) link
A lot of the people in those houses will be council or HA tenants - there’s a lot of on-street social housing in Islington.
When you’ve lost the neighbours like that, though... observe dude giving him the finger as he passes.

New line! Now he went because he was grieving for his uncle. No video-streaming funerals for him. Utter, utter cunt.
🚨 New: Why did Dominic Cummings go to Durham?I spoke to his mother. She told me what no one has yet reported – Cummings’ time in Durham coincided with his uncle’s death."We have been a grieving family," she says, "there's been no recognition of that." https://t.co/pdhTdUGynK— Harry Lambert (@harrytlambert) May 24, 2020

he did this to quite good effect during the proroguing of parliament debacle and some worthless labour right wanker mp tried a "spontaneous" - you are an outrage to parliamentary democracy - type attack on him while a friend filmed it and he replied " i don't even know who you are.. I don't think those houses will look particularly plush to people who don't live in London - which is most people.

The sequence of houses with curved window arches on the top floor you can see at the start of the clip is relatively unusual. I thought he might be on a street in N1 I lived on myself for a while (more De Beauvoir than Barnsbury) but no.
― nashwan, Sunday, 24 May 2020 22:02 (four years ago) link

― gyac, Sunday, 24 May 2020 22:11 (four years ago) link
Absolutely is in de Beauvoir, many of those streets off Essex Road have houses like that and they’re very particular to that part of Islington. Not Englefield or Northchurch Roads, though
