yeah ppl think he was just a shooter he averaged 26 one year and 25 the year before with 4 and 4 he was a star

game 6 now. 58-35 at halftime. just an absolute shitkicking at this point. the 2008 celtics were really good!

that team wins multiple rings in the vast majority of simulations run one has to think

it's interesting if you look at it....pierce/garnett/ray were all between 30 and 32 in '08 so right at the point when you expect some declines to start. they also had a hard time finding bench guys after this season. in particular they never found another posey.

but yeah, if you take '08-'09 and '09-'10 together and think about the odds, in most scenarios they should have gotten another one.

even the next season after too they started out rolling then garnett got injured

of course i remembered that the '08 celtics had to go to 7 games in the first two playoff rounds because i was watching those games and was immensely frustrated. i had forgotten that the lakers had basically rolled in 4, 6, and 5 games through their series. interesting now because this lakers team has some holes! outside of kobe, pau, odom, and derek fisher (really gritting my teeth on that last one) this is not a great team at all.

Count yourself lucky. The 1977 Trail Blazers should have had a repeat title at the absolute minimum. Probably a three-peat. Shit happened. They've never had a second title.

his handle had gotten so much better this season. that iso around 3:00 where he puts thybulle in the mix and easily gets to his spot.

hes improved so much since coming into the league its nuts, he had a bunch of stuff that needed serious upgrade and hes pretty much checked every box

like his jumper was authentically bad

yup. he's unrecognizable from his rookie year.

bodes well for the future as a guy who continues to work on his game
