Isn’t it because UEFA have threatened to deny entry to European competitions for countries that declare their top leagues over? I dunno why UEFA can’t see football is not happening in any way to allow seasons to complete before next year starts.

I think it’s the UEFA thing. Or that’s my best guess.

I’m going to assume Dundee will be in next season’s expanded top flight, then.

it's nothing to do with the UEFA thing, the clubs that voted against aren't happy with their current league position, either in relegation positions or not at the top of the table. it's as simple as that. this vote only gives the spfl the power to conclude the season. they're not actually going to formerly donor that top-flight until they get the go-ahead

The Dutch have just chucked it, no promotion, no relegation and no champions, though tbf Ajax & AZ Alkmaar are only separated at the top by goal difference.

Ligue 1 wound up. Paris St. Germain awarded the title, 12 points ahead with 11 games to play. I don't think I need to remind anyone here that Celtic are 13 points ahead with 8 games to play.
