His red is high enough to one-shot most (if not all) DDQ enemies, his purple drops crits and his blue stuns. It's glorious.
I like IM because his yellow does damage as well as negating the already-trivial match damage from DDQ enemies.

Basically, he kills himself and immediately resurrects with increasing match damage, along with a passive AOE whenever there's enough green on the board and a red nuke that, when fully levelled, does 32K damage. Also, once he dies, he comes back with just enough health to be up for a round or two before going down again, which gives true-healers like Okoye (whose power boosts his) and Daredevil (who also throws out strike tiles when he heals) time to top up before taking another round of damage. GEDoom is also a decent partner because he heals on every enemy yellow/black match and can throw out burst healing to give your team some breathing room from the Immortal Hulk death spiral. You could also try using airborne characters like Vulture or Danver5; plus, I wonder if Nightcrawler avoids his AOE.

I'm kind of obsessed with the resurrection mechanic and this is the first character I've seen where I think it might actually work. I'm also not particularly hardcore about playing competitively anymore so I'm not overly concerned about conserving health packs.

Immortal Hulk's PVP with Kitty and Beta Ray Bill is hilarious if you can get to 6 red or 6 blue right away; all incoming damage is down to 1 in two turns if you can keep the protects out and once you get Kitty's red out, the opposing IHulk mindlessly AOEs you into flooding the board with attack tiles that Kitty can then buff into oblivion. Alternately, get BRB's blue out and every AOE gives Kitty four more protects to buff.

My Hawkeye is under leveled so he sometimes dies quickly but when it works, it’s amazing. Worthy soaks up all the damage and Hawkeye generates blue and red off of Worthy’s countdowns, which lets Gamora stun lock using the blue and Hawkeye top up AP with his red. Let an enemy hit Worthy again if you run low on blue and red and jumpstart the whole process again.

btw Super Skrull is awesome; I used the 1/1/1 PvP loaner Okoye to 2-shot champed Kittys by loading up on TU, then cycling his purple/blue (Thing)/green she's still standing, dumping 90K of damage on her before she can overwrite his purple countdown

seems good! I have 3 covers already, balled hard in the last pve for it.
I really appreciated Mr Fantastic (buffed) with BRB & 5Carnage. Carnage makes little attack tiles for the enemy, which do like 1 damage to your team (w/ BRBs protect tiles) but trigger his blue, generating more protect tiles. And matching those little attack times triggers Mr F's yellow, which means you get a free bomb every four such matches. I hit over 1200 in the Fantastic Four PVP with that trio.

right? & Mr F's blue is a bomb too when you have a bunch of tiles on the board, which BRB+5Carnage gets you (even 4 Carnage gets you those)---a bomb with a stun! he's still buffed in the Hunt & I'm tempted to keep using him even though my champed Surfer is buffed & thus useful for once.

I am one cover away from champing Hammond Torch. After him, I still need to champ Karnak, Northstar, Karolina, Maria Hill, and Super Skrull (Spider-Ham doesn't count IMO because he's a limited character). Of those, Karolina has the most covers (4/4/3) but Karnak/Super Skrull are the most useful.

yeah I had like 4mil iso until I got my Okoye champed a few months ago; she's a real game changer! I was able to hit 900 in PVP with her consistently, and got into a top alliance, so now the covers flow. I'm not using Okoye much now that I have BRB at 460, he & Carnage are such beasts in PVP, in particular on defense so I don't get many defensive losses once I get past 600 or so (though I did today in the pvp I guess because the super skull guy can steal tiles, not sure, maybe I played at the wrong time, I usually make my runs in the European morning when usa players are mostly asleep and asian players should be working)

Thanks to her PvP, I'm wondering if Thorkoye/Invisible Woman is a hard counter to Kitty/BRB; I'm using her blue to get rid of the annoying boosted protects without giving them any blue, her yellow to hide from damage, and her green fueled by Thor and buoyed by Okoye to 2-shot Kitty

You can’t lock repeaters so her countdown keeps going but it gets tangled up in the protects and strikes from IW’s yellow and blue. My IW is 4/4/5 so she drops 2 protects on yellow and 3 strikes on blue, which means if you fire them both in the same turn and the AI doesn’t match any of them away, you have 6 turns to kill her or fire yellow or blue again to extend the timer, by which point you can absolutely murder her with IW’s green.
