no way they straight-up cancel the season until they absolutely have to. maybe push it back to july 1 or something. they're completely winging it at this point, there was literally no plan at all as of a week ago

did you ever watch that 2015 (i think) empty stadium baltimore game? it is pretty fucked up
at one point jeff samardzija does the nose-clearing-inhale, the loogie-hocking-set-up-throat-thing, and the loogie-launch, all on camera and EXTREMELY on microphone. it's rough. and it wasn't even an empty stadium due to, you know, a disease spread by fluids. my point is, jeff samardzija is disgusting

ok, nothing against the announcer (he's better than what i'm used to), but i think if i'm going to watch empty stadium baseball games, i'm going to watch the version with just ambient ballpark noises as well. i want just the sounds of the ball hitting things, some grunts, the crack of the bat, touching the bases, the ball hitting a mitt. nothing else. no talking! no humans!
