I'm gonna rewatch the Rebuilds soon which I am looking forward to it now that I'm on board with the theory that it's all set in the same continuity and is either a time loop or some sort of post-Third Impact "redo"

the only other movie was "Bounce Ko Gals". My understanding is that it's difficult to obtain permits for shooting on the streets of Tokyo, and I'm also undoubtedly hampered by doing all of my research in English and not Japanese.

I watched 3.0 earlier this year. Is there a "standard" fan theory over what happens? I am guessing that the god in the abyss was actually Lilith, NERV having tricked Kaworu into thinking it was Adam (by switching the bodies and decapitating Lilith themselves), Kaworu then tricking Shinji into thinking it was Lilith (which it actually was). Very Princess Bride cup game.

i know ppl love it 2.0 turning into a dating sim about halfway through is just the pits for me. making 3.0 about the fallout of shinji being a hero at the end of 2.0 was the correct artistic decision
