i wonder if at some point ilx will have a problem with a significant number of posters actually suffering from alzheimers as opposed to pretend forgetfulness?

Believe she gets mentioned more often than you think. Plus many are friends with her on social media, where she is very active. She’s organized a spoken word thing coming up in about a week, featuring ILX0rs, ex-ILX0rs and performers known to ILX0rs

cool. i've never advanced in twitter to the point that i've developed any sort of rapport with a specific person there, which is why i find it hard to believe a large swathe of ours has migrated there and that it works as a substitute

She never accepted my friend request when I got a new FB account around that time and I had nothing to do with whatever happened on ilx that made her leave so I was wondering how she was myself. Glad to know she's doing fine. Her leaving was ILM's loss.

weirdly enough a few of the posters mentioned on this thread never added me on FB either despite always seemingly been friendly with.

Contendo seems to have quit fb and we used to be in regular contact and I hope he's ok.

different people have different rules for FB - I don't generally add people unless I know them irl (I've made a few exceptions for ILX folks)

some dude is a guy whose contributions I've missed. I don't actually follow him on twitter, but was really happy last week when one of his tweets went viral and kept popping up in my feed via celebrity rts and likes.

Oh and if anyone's tried adding me on FB in the last few years do not take offence if I didnt add back, I've made it a bit of a policy not to add ppl anymore unless'n I know them IRL.

As of April 2016 she was still in Austin, yes; I went to see Duran Duran (fulfilling my stereotype here) on the 22nd and she offered up her home to me to stay overnight so I wasn't driving back to San Antonio in the late Friday night/Saturday morning hours. She was incredibly sweet and I got to share a meal with her at a Kerbey Lane Cafe before driving off for home. Unfortunately the 2016 election cycle took its toll on her and she understandably felt the need to withdraw from social media.
