To make matters more confusing, some early remixes by The Orb are titled "Orbital Mix". Took me a while to figure out it wasn't Orbital who'd done them.

I've never read Tolkien or seen the LOTR movies, and whenever I see a reference to Smeagol, my mind goes to Robert Smigel.

Plein Soleil is my fave version, but I think they both fine tbh but let's be honest young alain delon>>>matt bloody damon!

I think both movies are good in different ways, the French one is sexier, while the Minghella one is more sociological. Plein soleil suffers from the forced "moral" ending though, which the newer one obviously doesn't have.

aye some bits of it didn't age well, but overall and I suppose aesthetically it is much more of an indelibly cool movie in my memory!

I grew up calling scallions 'spring onions' and have avoided that mix up.

"Did you get the onion from the supermarket?"
