The Bernie thread has been a bit tough the last few days, but in all honesty, seeing as what has been under discussion is a pretty clear misstep by the guy with the name in the thread title, make no misstake that the larger part of Berners on here realize that it was hurtful and listens to those who feel hurt by it. Compare this to the UK politics thread, which I think everyone can agree is not a place for fact-based discussion anymore, but for ranting and name calling. And which has degenerated to the point where a guy like xyzzzz can openly bully other posters all over the board, and while it seems even his most ardent defenders realize bullying is exactly what he is doing, he is still shielded and offered respect by that community. It is kinda amazing the rest of the UK pol crew don't realize how bad the comrades' behaviour reflects on them, but oh well.
