Music poll ending tonight so many of us will move onto this afterwards

all good (and that was the intent with the poll end date) but I gotta lobby for viability! I need 20 but am hoping for 30/40.

I'm hovering right around ten shows that I'm caught up on and can legitimately vote for and there are at least a couple that frankly aren't really good enough for me to vote for. I may quite frankly cheat on the former point because I've just started watching (but am already several seasons into and will probably be caught up on by the time the results go live) a show which I've quickly fallen in love with and have on good authority maintains its sterling standards through the present day.

I'll also try to vote when I have access to a laptop again in a few days

I genuinely didn't see the ballot thread, if I had I'd have nominated Legion, but tbh that would only increase my ballot from 3 to 4 shows - I will note down the results and then get around to them in 10 years, by which time half of them will have had a terrible final season and I will feel relief.

I've only seen a half a dozen of these shows, though, and one of my favorites (Dead To Me) wasn't even nominated. the music and movie polls seem much easier for me

I only heard like six new albums this year and I didn't think it was enough to vote in the ILM poll. But six shows is enough to drop a ballot in this poll I think, given the small number of nominees

I feel like I watch a pretty healthy amount of TV yet I think I only saw the entire 2019 season of 12 shows apparently (voted for 10). I think I'll let the poll results guide my viewing in the immediate future (starting I imagine with Fleabag, which I haven't seen).

might ask my wife to do a list too, she watches way more than I do (while I'm watching sports). I bet she's gotten through at least 30-40 of these.

Most of the 2019 shows I have seen are frankly unworthy of nominations or votes but they make for solid ambient accompaniment to making dinner and paying bills and what have you.

Yeah I didn't realize voting for the Good Place was possible! But I'm comfy with my top 4 as they are, as much as I like the Good Place (would have rated season 1 as #1 of 2016 I imagine) I'd put 2019 TGP in the group of things I'd be happy to see in the rolllout but to which I don't want to give the same points as I do to my absolute faves.

Wow that's great. I saw ~20 different shows last year, which is of course a very small slice of what's out there. excited to see what I'm missing out on

forks I seriously think a slow roll-out suits a TV poll, giving people time to talk about the results at more leisure, especially if they're not online during the moments that you're posting. don't stress!
