so since this is basically the non-specific booze drinking thread at this point - as a long standing fan of sauza tres generaciones tequila (prob like a billion spelling errors there), i have to admit that i got a bottle of herradura respado and it was AWESOME

My bff from high school's dad owns a liquor store (this happened after we graduated sadly) and all I got was a giant bottle of Bailey's :(

i don't mind asking for a glass of water with every drink and i don't care if anyone thinks i'm a lightweight; long as I keep the ratio right, I stay upright.

A water back is the way to go. A beer back is only going to make you pee extra -- a water back is pure stuff that you're going to be lacking soon. Plus it doesn't mix flavors in your mouth. I'd say that ordering a water back means you're serious about what you're drinking.

coffee = more awake

whiskey = more drunk

never been clear on the "Drink you under the table" he-man threat; is it meant to say "I can take more poison in my body than you can, due to my vast and worldly experience"? A randy acnescarred teenager can drink me under the table if I haven't eaten in the past twenty hours and I'm sufficiently absent-minded, but I suppose I've done more idiotic power drinking than Pizzaface Strawman.
Besides, guys falling out is NOT fun when you're out drinking; it tends to be more of a "say, I'm still doing this. what a goose am i" heads up. I like to drink with people who get stodgier, funnier and less confrontational not vice versa.
