About Work The Dancefloor is great but not the best thing here and a whole album full of songs like that would sound so rote and there are dozens of albums out there if you want that sort of thing. I get that there's a big constituency here with an apparently limitless appetite for vaguely 80s Robynish synthpop but this album is at its most fun when it's not doing that.
The MIA-isms feel lightly worn here, and may even have seeped in subconsciously, given her age and background then MIA is exactly the sort of thing she'd have been listening to as a teenager - not to mention everything you'd have been exposed to from birth when your dad was one of Leftfield. A song like Feel It seems to split the difference between MIA and later Orbital.
