I've not paid a ton of attention to the rumours tbh, most of them turn out to be nonsense and Wolves under Fosun have been pretty tight-lipped until a deal is actually done. I'd be v surprised if we don't sign in this window altho personally my priority would be a striker and a midfielder. January is not a great time to sign players tho, and in my opinion the season has been a roaring success so far and yeah of course we need to develop and expand the squad but it's got to be the right signings, not just some desperate cast-offs with the wrong mentality.

Course if we sign defenders it potentially frees up Saiss and/or Donk for the midfield but tbh I see Donk as a better ball-playing defender than he is as a midfielder.

You're getting at least another season of Mourinho lads
