Listening to Ventriloquist more, the whole boat thing is really reflected in the music (and the great sleeve photo of her in the water), the music is mostly languid, but there are rockier moments, especially one of the bonus tracks.

Crispin Gray is such a weird guitar player. I love it. Sounds sloppy and out of tune and careless, but dude is in total control at every moment of every recording.

yeah I think he's a bit underrated. I realise Daisy Chainsaw weren't for everybody but the guitars always sounded great to me
