Actually, I don't see any indication he "tussled" with it...

"he was trying to sidestep a boar"

one month passes...

Earlier today, LHP James Paxton underwent a microscopic lumbar discectomy with removal of a peridiscal cyst. The surgery was performed by Dr. Andrew Dossett in Dallas, Texas. His approximate timeline to return to Major League action is 3-4 months.

Diamondbacks right-hander Mike Leake has a fracture in his left wrist, an injury he hopes won’t keep him from making the Opening Day roster.

Leake said he expects to have limited activity over the next two weeks as he allows the fracture to heal, though he said he can continue to keep his right arm strong by playing catch without catching return throws.

Leake said he slipped and fell on the basketball court at home as he was chasing a dog.

“He was a little disobedient to my other dog so I had to chase after him,” Leake said.
