WWE has confirmed WrestleMania will not be taking place in Tampa Bay. It will instead air live on PPV/WWE Network and emanate from the WWE Performance Center.

this empty performance center phase has been utterly surreal (not necessarily great, but definitely the closest the weekly shows have been to must-watch in a while)

honestly if they wanted to make this "good" they could just pre-shoot every match with nice cameras, lighting, editing, closeups, ignore the hypothetical audience and just shoot it like a low budget WWE film

they won't do that though

it's wrestlemania

they had days to edit these matches and they spent every single minute adding camera cuts, it's nauseating

there was a sequence in the women's tag match that had about a dozen cuts in 2 seconds and it was just the kabuki warriors setting up nikki cross on the turnbuckle

The finish to the ladder match was really fucking dumb.

loath as i am to praise these murder capitalist archvillains in any way - the boneyard match totally ruled. i am annoyed with myself for enjoying any part of this abomination but there it is. other good things - that KO elbow and the sound the bell made when they clobbered each other with it, Daniel Bryan being the only one on the roster that knows how to work a wrestling match with no crowd there.

everything else about this was terrible, but youve gotta check out the boneyard match if you missed it
