I was always fascinated by how Roger Lodge was a regular guest on Rome’s tv show. Maybe he should be a guest on every show

man, fair enough, I just don’t dig his style at all. Plus all the fat jokes. And the calls from “clones” uggggghh. The interviews are boring (I guess most national interviews are). would rather listen to Stephen A. if given a choice tbh (fp away)sorry for shitting up ILH, hny all

along with the somewhat more explicable tacko fall (lol boston), alex caruso aka "the accountant" is in the top ten guards for all star contention

jj barea is such a badass. 35 years old coming off a torn achilles, barely playing this season and he's just roasting the brooklyn centers on switches.

the leap in bam's offensive skill is sometimes startling
When Bam Adebayo blocked Joe Ingles' pass-fake shot a week back, he then absorbed it into his repetoire, Megaman style. pic.twitter.com/N3X4ExssKf— Couper Moorhead (@CoupNBA) January 3, 2020

the other night on NBATV, Greg Anthony listed his all-decade Nuggs and somehow Will Barton made his starting five. Goldsberry's scoring chart for Denver reiterates how dumb this is (ftr, Anthony left off Faried, which seemed to me the most egregious oversight)
― Evans on Hammond (evol j), Friday, 3 January 2020 15:12 (four years ago) link
The nuggets are kinda tough because a lot of the best level of play was in the first two and last two years of the decade.

two woj tweets:
Drummond has a $28M player option for next season that he is unlikely to exercise, forcing the Pistons to consider possibility of losing him in free agency. Among teams, there's an increasing belief that Drummond will be moved before February 6 trade deadline. https://t.co/s4PDchLVWV— Adrian Wojnarowski (@wojespn) January 3, 2020

that clarkson trade last week ended the drought.

but we need big trades like this obv
oh i missed that
― ciderpress, Friday, 3 January 2020 20:35 (four years ago) link
a good trade for the jazz i think. they need anyone that can even pretend to score and clarkson can do that. if he can hover at league avg from 3 on 5-6 attempts that will help the jazz a ton.
― championship winning vibration (Spottie), Friday, 3 January 2020 20:59 (four years ago) link
I really don’t pay much attention to the pistons so what’s the consensus on Drummond? Gonna be worth his eventual max deal?
― Heez, Friday, 3 January 2020 21:06 (four years ago) link
his skillset is insane but his motor is highly suspect.
― championship winning vibration (Spottie), Friday, 3 January 2020 21:07 (four years ago) link
he's actually added a bunch of stuff to his game but unfortunately he has never been the type of defender and rim protector that you would want.
― call all destroyer, Friday, 3 January 2020 21:17 (four years ago) link
giving drummond a bunch of money would make me a bit ill if i was a hawks fan
― J0rdan S., Friday, 3 January 2020 21:19 (four years ago) link
hes really good at steals. over 1.5/1.5 steals/blocks last year and pushing close to 2/2 this year. just raw stats tho i have no idea what opponents fg% around the rim with him around tho
― championship winning vibration (Spottie), Friday, 3 January 2020 21:21 (four years ago) link
i'm sure they see him as a good fit as a veteran big who ostensibly plays defense but i don't see the point of giving $20m+ per year or whatever to a ground bound non shooting center in today's NBA. there has to be better use of their money.
― J0rdan S., Friday, 3 January 2020 21:22 (four years ago) link
his best drpm ranking among centers in the past 4 years is this year in progress, where he is.....15th. a defense with trae in front and drummond in back isn't going to be good enough to do much of anything.

the 2013 indiana pacers?
― J0rdan S., Friday, 3 January 2020 23:13 (four years ago) link
i don't think the question with drummond is whether he's a positive or negative on the court.... it's more how much money you want to pay him to be on your team
― J0rdan S., Friday, 3 January 2020 23:15 (four years ago) link
they also had this stretch before they stupidly traded for blake griffin where they were running the offense through him a bunch and he was pretty adept at playmaking. wonder if he could do more in a bigger offensive role like what they are doing with bam this year in miami. pretty crazy he was able to get his FT% from like 35% to around 60% the last couple years, that should be praised more.
― championship winning vibration (Spottie), Friday, 3 January 2020 23:16 (four years ago) link
if you could get him for ~25 per year thats a steal but i reckon he'll fetch max money from someone.
