They’re doing just one Chanukah show this year, and it is virtual on December 18 at 8 pm eastern ( after sundown of last day of Chanukah). It’s a ticketed online benefit for save our stages . Opening act and comedian tba.

I watched afternoon screening today. I think there’s at least one more ( but no one else has posted that they’re watching a later repeat telecast).

Cool that Ivan Julian ( who was being treated for cancer earlier) was up onstage with them. Yes, Autumn Sweater with Ira on piano was nice. I liked the Flo & Eddie cover and Rosemarie Smile a little Smile by the Flying Machines

Even though I don’t live anywhere near NYC and probably wouldn’t quite be ready to go yet even if I did, still getting some major FOMO about these Hanukkah shows. Killer setlists.

i always say i'm gonna go and never get it together and then promise i'll do it next year, repeatx20, but reading jesse jarnow's updates has become a holiday tradition of its own for me

definitely a vicarious pleasure to see the setlists / special guests every morning. I flew out for the Feelies last month so my live music budget was blown, but I'll make it out ... someday? Who knows how long they'll do this, seems like a lot of work!

Agreed, I hope long enough for me to attend some day! Helps that they seem to really enjoy doing this.

I totally get why they want to keep these as a special event, but I do wish they'd relent on the "no tapers" stance, or at least release some of these somehow.

I didn't make it to that Jersey City Feelies show but as a local I've been spoiled with many Feelies or Feelies-adjacent shows over the years.

the feelies / willies show was magical, so glad I finally bit the bullet and went out there.
