whoa, really? i'm not sure i've seen a patreon go that high, wow! he does deserve it. he was the last good thing remaining at kotaku, which he almost singlehandedly kept afloat the last year or so

as someone who has never played ffvii and has no intention of playing ffvii or the remake this was amazing. only trouble is that i couldn't help reading everything in tim's voice for the rest of the day

I've also never played FFVII outside of the demo, and probably never will play it, but I find it very fascinating as a pop-cultural relic, so this was worth watching for me. I'll probably avoid his video on TLoU until I've actually played that, though.

two hours into this it has mostly convinced me i shouldn't play it. Good review! Saved me a lot of time!

this was fine. i mean i watched three hours without being bored. but i wasn’t at any point wowed enough by anywhere he went with it that i felt, afterwards, it had been a sound investment of my time. which i suspect is how i would feel if i got the ffvii remake so i guess it fits

INSERT CREDIT PODCAST is happening again btw and i kind of prefer his snide persona to his earnest persona so I’ve been digging that a lot

i found this entertaining and it offered a lot more info about the games he's worked on than i'd picked up from his videos

i ran out of my crohn's disease medication a couple weeks back. coincidentally, i now know what the symptoms of crohn's disease feel like. also, i am experiencing an outbreak of shingles. i spent all day on the phone today, and learned i can't get health insurance until 2021.
