éminence rose et jaune (Noodle Vague), Wednesday, 4 December 2019 21:29 (four years ago) link

Liverpool not playing with the urgency you'd expect from a team that's in danger of winning 4-2,the most embarrassing scoreline

Dadjokke (Sgt. Biscuits), Wednesday, 4 December 2019 21:44 (four years ago) link

Lol I was just thinking about that

or something, Wednesday, 4 December 2019 21:53 (four years ago) link

Also lol at Amazon's plan to make everyone switch over for the MAIN EVENT after their team's game finishes being foiled by the second half being absolute dogshit

LFC - 13 games without a clean sheet. Struggling.

Michael Jones, Wednesday, 4 December 2019 22:30 (four years ago) link

Punditry is no better on Amazon either.

Jim Rosenthal, last seen on TV 30 years ago (?), was doing the United-Spurs match.

Arsenal are getting totally outplayed.

Srinivasaraghavan VONCataraghavan (ShariVari), Thursday, 5 December 2019 20:56 (four years ago) link

Shelvey just scored a second for Newcastle which the keeper didn’t bother going for because the flag was raised five seconds before, wrongly as it turned out and the goal was given. hilariously shit but why Sheffield United aren't doing their nuts about it I have no idea

wot's the tea mum? (not beef again) (DJ Mencap), Thursday, 5 December 2019 21:02 (four years ago) link

Arsenal getting outplayed is hardly news these days. Newcastle's relative rise far more worrying imo.

Le Bateau Ivre, Thursday, 5 December 2019 21:09 (four years ago) link

Arsenal completely dominated for about twenty minutes after the break and just stopped. 2-1 Brighton. They’ll probably get a draw but Brighton have been far the better side.

Srinivasaraghavan VONCataraghavan (ShariVari), Thursday, 5 December 2019 21:57 (four years ago) link

Brighton deserve a win here imo.

Le Bateau Ivre, Thursday, 5 December 2019 22:01 (four years ago) link

Glad arsenal lost particularly for the squeaky voiced kid who won't shut up being picked up on the commentary. Making Shearer sound good

or something, Thursday, 5 December 2019 22:07 (four years ago) link

Changed tense at the final whistle there, ruining an already dreadful sentence structure

or something, Thursday, 5 December 2019 22:09 (four years ago) link

Great win.

In other heartwarming news, Vincent Janssen has started to come good. He has had a mostly miserable first season for Monterrey, playing second fiddle to Ramiro Funes Mori’s twin brother, but scored in both legs of the playoff quarter finals and the first leg of the semifinals last night. He seems really happy.

Srinivasaraghavan VONCataraghavan (ShariVari), Thursday, 5 December 2019 22:12 (four years ago) link

Vincent Janssen has started to come good

Whaaaat?! The whole of the Netherlands has collectively forgotten him but this is good news :D

deems of internment (darraghmac), Saturday, 7 December 2019 15:45 (four years ago) link

as my dad said about the Maradona goal, somebody shd've chopped Son around the half way line

éminence rose et jaune (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 7 December 2019 15:51 (four years ago) link

I mean fair play to him and all but Son essentially has to beat one player for that goal

Number None, Saturday, 7 December 2019 16:31 (four years ago) link

two, and that's fair criticism but he still fair et up that last fifty yards

deems of internment (darraghmac), Saturday, 7 December 2019 17:46 (four years ago) link

LOL Solskjaer is good now. Pep out.

You know you'd be railing against the commentariat if it was anyone else's player darragh. But the lad can run alright

Listened to that on TalkSport. Paul Parker sounding like he'd been dragged off the street and bunged in front of a mic with no experience whatsoever.
